Hi!
Ich find die meisten Microsoft programme einfach doof.
Kein Plan warum aber mir gefallen Programme wie Winamp, Firefox, Thunderbird und co. besser.

Geht es euch auch so?

Liegt wohl daran, das MS-Software ohnehin nur a) vom Namen lebt und b) eben stets mitgeliefert wird. cool
Aber es gibt ja glücklicherweise die freie Browserwahl etc... thumbsup

Würde ich unterschreiben und noch weitergehen. Microsoft office ist doof mrgreen Open office und LYX sind da besser LYX halt für Hausarbeiten und so einen Kram.

Also bei mir ist das recht zwiespältig. Beim Surfen finde ich Firefox um Längen besser und ich lechze derzeit überhaupt nicht dem neuen IE7 nach, den werd ich mir allerhöchstens installieren, weil ich ihn beruflich kennen muss, aber damit arbeiten werde ich nicht.
Beim Windows Media Player bin ich dann wieder so weit, dass ich kaum einen anderen Player gefunden hab, der mir so gut gefällt und den ich so leicht bedienen kann. Weder VLC noch Winamp oder ähnlich verbreitete Titel finde ich besser. höchstens ebenbürtig. Nur um DVD's abzuspielen ist der Media Player ein echter Witz, selbst der neue WMP11.
An Microsoft Outlook geht dann für mich allerdings nichts mehr vorbei. Wohlgemerkt aber das richtige "Outlook", nicht "Outlook Express". Ich finde kein anderes Email-Programm so umfangreich und gut zu bedienen. Das Happige ist halt nur der Preis, wer das nicht ausgeben will, ist mit Thunderbird gut bedient.

Also Firefox finde ich viel besser zum surfen. Vor allem die Tabs die mann macchen kann find ich nützlich und auch google rechts oben.

Jaja..der Preis ist hoch...wenn man ihn denn bezahlt TsTsTs

Jedenfalls find ich Firefox z.B. auch um Längen besser als IE6. Nur die Startzeit is halt manchmal nervend lang (ihr wisst schon...diese 2 sekunden länger Augenzwinkern )
Windows Media Player ist eigentlich für das meiste auch ganz gut zu haben, den Rest wie DVDs oder DivX erledige ich über Nero ShowTime oder PowerDVD.

Und wo wir schon bei Nero sind....die Brennfunktion von XP is ja wohl ein Witz...da hätte man mehr draus machen können...is dann vielleicht bei Vista besser.

Outlook find ich persönlich optimal...mit dem entsprechenden Zusatzprogramm, das es rechts unten in der Taskleiste hält, einwandfrei...gibt's nix weiter zu sagen.

Ach ja...die Lautstärkeregelung hat mich bei jeder Windows-Version von neuem genervt. Hab dann immer das von meiner Soundkarte genommen. hat keinen richtigen Namen aber die Datei heißt ENSMIX32.EXE

Jop...Thema: OpenSource; Man denke nur mal an Linux oder auch OpenOffice, da gibts wesentlich mehr plugins, für fast alles, was der user so braucht Augenzwinkern

Nach dem neuesten Udpate Coup von Microsoft, wo per Update nach Raubkopien gesucht wird, denke ich das schon... Morgen erscheint ubuntu 6.06 schaut es euch an es lohnt sich...

Richtig, denn spätestens mit Vista....naja...vielleicht noch nicht....aber mit Windows Blackcomb wars das dann mit der Marktführung....bzw. sie wird stark beschränkt.

Ich mein, wer will schon nen PC, wo Microsoft alles drüber weiß, man ohne weiteres nicht einfach mal nen Gerät installieren kann, weil die software ja gefälscht sein könnte, man keine Musik und DVDs ohne weiteres anschauen kann und..........keine Freiheit!!!!

O.K. Linux hat sich zwar gebessert, ist aber für dem Otto-Normalverbraucher noch nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen. Da tuts noch XP oder, das teilweise sogar bessere 98Se oder Me. Hab Me selber zusätzlich drauf und es ist manchmal wirklich nicht schlecht.

denke, Microsoft verbaut sich da grade seine Führung....was aber auch mit dem Druck der Film- und Musikindustrie auf MS zusammenhängen wird.

Naja hinterfptzig, sie wollen halt verhindern das Leutedas Windows illeagl draufhaben, denen ist natürlich bewusst das sie keine Millionen Menschen verklagen können, also werden die Leute solange genervt bis sie sich ne Version kaufen mrgreen
