Zum Jahresende wird ein Kapitel deutscher Musik-TV-Geschichte zumindest teilweise beendet. Der Sender Viva plus wird in einen Comedykanal umgewandelt. Einen entsprechenden Bericht des Nachrichtenmagazins Focus bestätigte ein MTV-Sprecher am heutigen Freitag.

Unter dem Namen "Paramount Comedy" werden Produktionen aus den USa und Großbritannien gezeigt sowie Eigenproduktionen.

MTVs erfolgreiche Konzept einen unliebsamen Konkurrenten aus dem Weg zu räumen. Nach Viva Plus ist dann der Hauptsender dran.

freut mich ... obwohl ja NICK auch abends zum Comedy Kanal wird und wer war der Vorgänger iM Prinzip von NICK ... MTV "2" ... schon kurios diese Entwicklungen.

Wenn der Sender aber wirklich wie es scheint primär aus US Comedy Serien besteht, her damit ... bin jetzt schon tägl. NICK Gucker dank "Mad about you / Verrückt nach Dir" ... mich freuts auch wenn VIVA Plus derzeit fast der einzigste MUsiksende ristd er auch fast ausschließlich aus Musik besteht ... bei MTV kann amn ja davon nicht mehr sprechen ...

Find das ziemlich zum kotzen. Mich interessiert dieser Comedy Kram nicht.Auf Viva Plus liefen wenigstens ab und zu noch Sachen aus dem Metal Bereich.MTV weigert sich ja so etwas zu spielen...Spinner.

Ich denke mal das auch VIVA und MTV beide konzeptmäßig nachdem beide Ihre Ableger verloren haben, sich jeweils ein eigenes Image zulegen werden und sich auch mal unterscheiden.

Es ist wie im Ausland auch mit einem MTV Paket im PayTVBereich zu rechnen, mit meheren Musiksendern ... wie in anderen Ländern auch übl ich. Das was man frei über ASTRA zb empfängt sind die deut. Musiksender der MTV Gruppe. Alle anderen MTV Versionen der div. Länder sind alle verschlüsselt. Wie gesagt auf Sat sind nur MTV Deutschland, VIVA Deutschland und VIVA Polska ... free, der ganze Rest der 668756729726372 Ableger ist in Pay TV Paketen im Ausland zu finden.

Ich find das garnicht schlecht das es damit zu ende geht. So etwas wie MTV 2 wo nur Musik gelaufen ist, das war Sinnvoll. Da hatten die Pop interessierten was. Viva Plus ist eine einzige Komerzaktion mit dem ganzen Handy mist. Und es ist noch nicht genug statt mal in der Nacht werbung zu machen wird zwischen den Clips nochmal welche gemacht.
Wer weiß wie viele Verrückt da ne SMS senden damit sie ihr möchtegern Rock Tokio Hotel doch noch 3 min früher sehen können.
Hoffen wir auf einen hochqualitativen ComedySender

MTV hat nicht Viva gelauft, sondern der Konzern dem unter anderen auch MTV gehört nämlich Viacom hat den Sender gekauft, Viacom ist ein RiesenKonzern

Ich hab das letzte mal Viva geschaut, als ich 10 oder 11 war und noch hip hop fan war :1orglaugh: geschockt ..seit dem umgeh ich den Sender eher...und wenn er nun durch einen Comedy Kanal ausgewechselt wird, dann sind das doch hervorragende Neuigkeiten smile
