14. Dog Days
14. AUF DEN HUND GEKOMMEN

Als neue Nachbarn mit ihrem Hund einziehen, haben Doug und Carrie keine ruhige Minute mehr. Doug greift zur Selbsthilfe.

Bei Doug und Carrie ziehen neue Nachbarn ein. Tim und Dorothy Sacksky bringen ausserdem ihren Hund Stanley mit. Und von da an haben Doug und Carrie keine ruhige Nacht mehr, denn Stanley kläfft stundenlang. Zwar reagieren die Sackskys auf ein freundliches Gespräch sehr positiv und versprechen Besserung. Doch die Erfolge lassen auf sich warten. Nach einem weiteren Gespräch lässt sich der völlig genervte Doug breitschlagen, den Hund jeden Abend auszuführen, damit er sich müde toben kann. Als Carrie davon erfährt, ist sie stinksauer und beschwert sich bei Tim und Dorothy. Die beiden Nachbarn geraten sich über den Hund so sehr in die Haare, dass sie Stanley schliesslich abgeben. Und zwar an Doug und Carrie! Stanley fühlt sich bei seinen neuen Besitzern pudelwohl und macht sich erst mal in ihrem Bett breit...

Arthur: "Ok Dougles, ich habs jetzt. Ich hab den eindeutigen Beweis, dass Charlie Brown auf meinem Leben basiert."

Doug: "Und was ist mit Asterix?"

Arthur: "Das war ne Fehlanzeige. Aber guck dir das an. Dieser Schulz ist ja sowas von unverschämt. Er gibt Charlie Brown's Hund meinen Namen."

Doug: "Snoopy!?"

Arthur: "So ist es - mein Nachname ist Spooner. Tausch das p und das n in Spooner aus - und was hast du dann?"

Doug: "Snooper."

Arthur: "Ja, aber wenn du das er gegen ein y austauscht - was bekommst du dann?"

Doug: "Spoony."

Arthur: "Das n und das p sind auch immer noch getauscht!"

Doug: "Ok dann heißt es Snoopy."

Arthur: "Haaa!!! Bin ich nun verrückt oder nicht!?!"
