10. TRUTHAHN À LA MAMA

Carrie macht sich mit Ehemann und Vater auf die anstrengende Einkaufstour zu Thanksgiving. Der Ausflug hat für alle drei Folgen – mehr oder weniger angenehmer Natur... [PRO7 TV-Spy]

Thanksgiving steht vor der Tür und Carrie, Doug und Arthur machen sich auf den Weg zum Grosseinkauf. Der grosse Stress beginnt schon beim Kampf um einen Parkplatz. Arthur macht Carrie Vorwürfe, weil diese Fertiggerichte kaufen will. Schliesslich lässt sie sich von ihrem Vater breitschlagen und beschliesst, selbst einen Truthahn zuzubereiten – obwohl sie überhaupt nicht kochen kann. Sie sucht nach Hilfe und trifft erneut auf Helen, der sie einen Parkplatz vor der Nase weggeschnappt hat. Helen, die viele Rezepte kennt, zeigt sich wenig kooperativ als Einkaufshelferin. Weil Carries Freundlichkeit nicht fruchtet, beschliesst sie, einfach alles zu kaufen, was auch Helen in ihren Wagen packt. Prompt kommt es zum Streit zwischen den beiden Frauen. Währenddessen trifft Doug auf einen alten Bekannten, an den er sich aber nur noch vage erinnert. Auch die beiden kommen sich schnell in die Haare, während Arthur mit einer Holländerin anbändelt, die Snacks verkauft. Plötzlich hat Arthur mit der Familienfeier nicht mehr viel am Hut und will sich mit seiner neuen Eroberung abseilen.

Die Folge ist eine der besten, finde ich.

Die Unterhaltung zwischen Arthur und seiner lieben Tochter im Supermarkt betr. "drinnen- und draussenstimme oder -lautstärke" ist einfach der Hammer.

Ja, dem kann ich mich nur anschließen!
Also, ich finds ja auch so witzig, wenn Carrie und Arthur den "Vogel" ins den Einkaufswagen "schmeißen"! Zu geil!
Ich find die ganze Folge total gut! Kann man nichts dagegen sagen!
(Woher wissen wir eigentlich, dass die mit dem Lincoln "Helen" heißt??? Sagt sie das in der Folge mal, kann mich gar nicht erinnern?!)
Das einzige, was mich an der Folge ien bisschen stört ist, dass man bis zum Schluss nicht weiß, wer denn der Kerl ist, denn Doug angeblich kennen soll...

Ja, gibt es dafür eigentlich keine Anhaltspunkte, wer dieser Typ im Supermarkt ist.
Ich dachte erst, es wäre der Typ von der Highschool, der Mitarbeiter des Monats geworden ist.

ich finde dass die folge schon fast kult ist weil einfach so viele späße drin sind und die geschichte auch nicht schlecht ist

Auch geil ist die Szene in der sich Arthur über die Fertigfüllung aufregt und sagt "Da hätte sich deine Mutter im Grab umgedreht" dann eine Dose sieht und sagt "Da hätte sie sich grad nochmals umgedreht" darauf Doug "Na dann liegt sie ja wieder richtig" mrgreen Eine der geilsten Szenen finde ich

Ich finds auch schade, dass die nicht auflösen, woher der eine Typ den Doug kennt, ist aber schon ziemlich lustig gemacht die Geschichte, für mich hört sich dass ja ein bisschen so an, als wenn der Doug mal was mit dem gehabt hat, aber das will ich mir garnicht vorstellen! mrgreen

Diese Folge find ich einfach nur genial. War glaub meine erste Folge, die ich gesehen habe. Besonders klasse als sie ( Arthur und Carrie ) entschliessen einen Truthahn zu kaufen und dann diese Auswahl...herrlich mrgreen
